We are sad to announce that Mrs. Juelly Lichtmann, who had been Bohua’s long time treasurer and one of the most devoted volunteers, passed away on 12/2/2016. CSC and Bohua would like to honor her contribution to our community and Bohua. Please read the letter from Bohua principalbelow.
It is with deep sadness that we at BoHua note the passing of Juelly Lichtmann, a long-time supporter and respected friend. Juelly died suddenly at home on December 2, 2016. She was 59.
Juelly was survived by her husband, Jeffrey; sons John, Thomas and James; her mother and three sisters and a brother. John is a BoHua alumnus, now a sophomore in college; Thomas and James are BoHua students. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire family.
For more than ten years until her death, Juelly was an active and valued member in the BoHua community. Her commitment to BoHua was steadfast. Though she led a busy, demanding life—working full-time while taking care of a large and extended family—she cared enough about our school to volunteer her time and talent in tasks major and mundane. Not only did she help coordinate BoHua’s finances in her role as Treasurer for nearly a decade (our longest-serving yet); she was also, at various times, a class mom, a PTA chair or co-chair, a greeter, a hall monitor and a snack lady. She was never one to say no when asked to pitch in. Soft-spoken and down-to-earth, she always had a kind word for everyone. She was a lovely person, and beloved at BoHua. Her untimely passing is a big loss for us in many ways. We are grateful for her contributions to BoHua and will greatly miss her warmth, wisdom and friendship.
